Ralph A. Hubbard, 86

PHOENIX, NY – Ralph  A. Hubbard, 86, of County Line Road, Fulton (Granby), passed away at his home with his loving family by his side on Sunday September 16, 2012.

He was born in Granby, to his late parents, Harold Hubbard and Irene Beebe.

He was a graduate of Fulton High School.

Ralph was the owner/operator of Hubbard Farms, Fulton, NY.

He was a former employee of the city of Fairbanks, Alaska; a member of Cody Fire Department; the Republican Party Town of Granby; a director for the Empire State Potato Growers Association; NYS Grange Association; NYS Farm Bureau; National Federation of Independent Business.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Myrtle (Mackey) Hubbard; his sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Janette Hubbard of Fulton, Kirk and Debra Hubbard of Phoenix; his daughters, Kim Whipple of Pennellville and Cynthia Pluff of Phoenix; a foster brother, Charles “Bill” Hill of Fulton; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.

Graveside service only at 11:30 a.m. in Jacksonville Rural Cemetery, 9250 Fenner Road, (Lysander) Phoenix, with the Rev. Terrance E. Millbyer officiating. missing or outdated ad config

  1. so very sorry for your loss—my folks (malcolm fuller) would also be so sorry i well remember you folk and mrs hubbard refinishing a table for me—u will be in our prayers
