FULTON, NY – Armeine Sherman, 73, of Fulton, died Monday September 17, 2012, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego.
She was born in Fulton to the late William and Dorothy (Gaffney) Scanlon.
She had been a resident of Fulton all of her life.
Mrs. Sherman was past employed as a clerk at the Oswego County Real Tax Office for 20 years and she was also a bus driver for Golden Sun Bus, Minetto, NY.
Mrs. Sherman was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Voss; and brother, Thomas Scanlon.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Sherman of Fulton; two sons: Mark (Michele) Sherman of Fulton and Todd Sherman of Pennellville, NY; one sister: Patricia Eckard of Frewsburg, NY; two grandchildren: Dalton and Ryan Sherman; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday 10 a.m. in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., and 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Larkin.
Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.

She was a long time friend and we went to school together. The kids and Grandkids rode the bus with her… She will be missed. My prayers are with the family .
