FULTON, NY – Betty L. Meeker, 71, of Fulton passed away Thursday August 6, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Meeker was born in Fulton, to the late Harry and Lillian (Green) Shaw.
She remained a lifetime resident of Fulton.
Mrs. Meeker previously owned and operated Betty’s Place, Fulton.
She was longtime member of All Saint’s Episcopal Church, Fulton.
Mrs. Meeker was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Meeker in 1998; and brother-in-law, Jim Gardner in 2012.
She is survived by her children: David (Christine) Meeker of Fulton, Harry (Danette) Meeker of Fulton and Cheryl (Thomas) Farrell of Texas; her sister: Florence Gardner of Fulton; nine grandchildren: Eva-Mae, Stephanie, Samantha, Joshua, Tristan, Jacob, Karlee, Nicholas and Derek; and two great-grandchildren: Lily, and Harper.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at All Saint’s Episcopal Church, Fulton, with Rev. Harold Avery officiating.
Burial will be held in Chase Cemetery, Lysander, NY.
Calling hours will be conducted 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.

MY heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the family. Betty was a beautiful person and I loved her like the sister I never had. She will be truly missed. May all her pain and suffering be over and may she rest in peace with the lord.
