FULTON, NY – Elizabeth A. Melfi, 88, of Fulton, died Thursday September 25, 2014, at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
Mrs. Melfi was born in Fulton to the late Amedeo and Gisella (Cuzzlin) Raponi.
She had been a resident of Fulton all of her life.
Mrs. Melfi was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick V. Melfi Sr., in 1991; son, Patrick V. Melfi Jr., in 1971; siblings: Archie Raponi, Anthony Raponi, Alexander Raponi and Mary Ann Oot.
She is survived by her brother, Dante (Joy) Raponi of Panama City, Florida; grandson, Patrick V. Melfi III of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Canorro.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
