FULTON, NY – Gerald A. Story, 77, of Fulton passed away Wednesday May 28, 2014, at Michaud Residential Health Services.

Mr. Story was born in Fulton to the late Samuel and Vivian (Hall) Story.

He lived in California for 40 years before moving back to Fulton in 2008.

Mr. Story was a graduate of Fulton High School and Fresno State University, California, with a B.A. in Ancient History.

He was past employed as a Materials Manager with Westinghouse, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Bell Aerospace, California.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane Story of Fulton; five children: Terri Neeley of Utah, Jamey Story of California, Shelly Story of Cortland, NY, Casey Story of California and Robin Story of Fulton; seven grandchildren: Joey, Melissa, Connor, Brian, Gabrielle, Austin, and Hunter; two great-grandchildren: Ariel and Rylee; and his faithful companion: Little Bear.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately.

  1. I grew up a block away from Jerry, we used to play basketball in his barn. Jerry was a great guy always willing to help you in your basketball skills. I was not aware he lived in California, I too have lived in California since 1964. He will be missed.
