OSWEGO, NY – Matthew C. Bame, 25, a resident of Oswego until moving to Edgewood Maryland, three years ago, died Tuesday October 17, 2017, in Maryland.

Matthew was born in Royal Oak, Mich., the son of Jeff and Sherry (Powell) Bame of Oswego.
He was employed as a salesperson for T Mobile and Kay Jeweler in Maryland.
He enjoyed golfing, fly fishing, playing football and baseball.
Matthew was an avid Detroit fan, following all the Detroit sports teams.
He is survived by his loving family, parents Jeff and Sherry Bame of Oswego; sister, Sarah Bame of Oswego; brother, Jeffrey Bame Jr., of Oswego; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Monday 10 a.m. at the Grace Evangelical Church, 201 E. Sixth St., Oswego.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. Fourth. St., Oswego.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Matthew Bame’s memory to Turning Point Project, 1945 Millington Square, Bel Air, Md., 21015.

My sincerest condolences Mr & Mrs Bame. I know I’ve never met you but my family has just been through this same lose of my 25 yr old nephew only 3 months ago. So it’s heartbreaking to see once again another family having to lay to rest their child. I will say prayers for your family. Giving you strength during this very very difficult time.
