Maurine Caprin

Maurine Caprin, of Fulton, died Friday June 15, 2012, from a severe asthmatic attack.

Maurine was born in Fulton the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Evelyn Caprin.

Maurine was a former employee of Nestle’s Co.

She was a member Elks BPOE Lodge # 830, the VFW Post # 569 and she loved to play softball and go bowling.

Maurine is survived by her sisters and brother, Christine (Tim) Barlett of Parish, Raymond (Debbie) Caprin of Hannibal, Bernice (Jonne) Rowe of Fulton and Beth (Rick) Nixdorf of Florida; close friend, Pam Cordone of Fulton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

Maurine’s family would like to invite family and friends to join them at the Elks Lodge # 830, 57 Pierce Drive, Fulton, following the funeral and burial to celebrate her life. missing or outdated ad config

  3. I joined the Elks Club in February and am so glad I got the opportunity to meet Mo and get to know her for a short time. What a loving and outgoing person, she’ll be missed and my condolences to her family and many friends.

  7. I was fortunate enough to have Maureen in class at the Junior High. She was a delight. I will never forget her warmth and enthusiasm. I was shocked to learn of her death and want to send my sympathy to her family and friends. What a horrendous loss. She was far too young to have left us.

  8. Im happy i got to meet her when i did. She was a wonderful person and wont be the same at the elks without her. She will be missed by all.

  9. Moe’s family lived in the neighborhood so I knew her
    long before bowling but that’s where we got to be good
    friends…She worked for Grant many years and he always
    laughed at how she teased him…Never saw her without
    her trademark smile…our sympathy and prayers go out
    to the family…She will be missed by many…

I will miss very much..We’ve knowen each other since we were 10 but lost touch for a while and it was if it was only a few days since we last seen each other.
