Patricia Farfaglia, 62; formerly of Fulton died Thursday at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY.

She was born in Glen Rock, NJ to the late Thomas and Alice (Taylor) Gorham. She was a resident of Fulton for several years before moving to Hammond, NY 3 years ago. Mrs. Farfaglia was a teacher with the Fulton Consolidated School System for 38 years.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years Robert M. Farfaglia of Hammond, NY, 4 children: Greg (Summer) Farfaglia of OR, Krista (John) Fox of Pulaski, NY, Gretchen Farfaglia of Burlington, VT, and Jeffery (Shannon) Storie of Greely, Ontario, 2 sisters: Nancy Farina of Albany, NY, and Barbara Leonard of FL, 7 grandchildren: Taylor Occhino, Dylan Occhino, Carmelo Farfaglia, Ashley Storie, Molly Fox, Abigayle Fox, and Meghan Storie and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services and Burial will be held privately. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.

The family has requested that donations be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation 383 Main Ave. 5th Floor Norwalk, CT 06851. missing or outdated ad config

    I’m very sorry to hear about your Mom. I, too, lost my Mom at 62 to cancer. She was a lovely woman, may your memories of her bring you peace as you mourn her passing.

  2. Patty was one of the most beautiful women I ever knew– her infectious laugh and her amazing ability to always see the good in people and situations inspired and inspire me still. A loving husband, a beautiful family, a beautiful home and a great career all were hers. We miss her so!!!!
