Stephen Darby, 45

FULTON, NY – Stephen Darby, 45, of Fulton, died Saturday March 3, 2012, at home after a long illness.

He was born in Syracuse, NY.

He previously lived in Cato and Oswego before moving to Fulton 12 years ago.

Mr. Darby graduated from Morrisville College with an associate degree in wood-product technology.

He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Darby was the past owner and operator of Reliable Handeeman, Fulton, for eight years.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years and high school sweetheart, Rose M. Darby of Fulton; three children, Christopher Darby of Fulton, Philip Darby of Colorado and Breanna Darby of Fulton; his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Rose (Ranger) Darby of Sandy Creek, NY; his grandson, Trent Darby of Fulton; and nephew, Tyler Darby of Sandy Creek, NY.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
