  1. Dear Brenda and boys, Kay and I were so sorry to heaar of Jerry,s passing. He was a wonderful man, coworker and friend. Just a wonderful all around guy. This is one of the things we miss since we moved to Florida 3 years ago and that is spending time with friends and then finding it is too late. Our prayers and love are with you at this time. Love Kay and Dick

  2. The Thompson Family,
We were very sorry to hear the news about Gerrys illness and passing.
I worked with Gerry for all his 19 years at Sonoco and considered him a good friend.
He was an unbelievable carpenter and an even better man.
We moved to Florida after the closing of the plant, but we still have the huge frame hanging that Gerry crafted for us for an old family heirloom, a tapestry that we couldn’t find a big enough frame for. He made sure it was perfect and then handed it to Donna, and declined payment. He’s one of the people I’ve lost touch with since leaving, and have missed him. I miss him even more right now.
Good luck to you Brenda, and also to the boys.
    Your friends,
    Tony & Donna Marino
