Laurie was raised in Fulton, NY, lived in several cities and states throughout her life before settling in Evans for her husband’s position with Textron Specialty Vehicles in 2003.
Laurie was a devoted wife and mother whose passions were her children, spending time with her family, her faith, and making life fun for others.
Laurie is survived by her husband of 20 years, Michael; daughters, Ahnna Grace and Sophia Louise; step-son, Collin (Katie Fisher) Parkhurst; her mother, Jill Pratt (Stan Burkle); her father, Ray Crofoot (Deb McLear); mother-in-law, Honey Parkhurst; brother, Steve (Heather) Crofoot; aunts and uncles, Cindy (Brian) Seeber, Bonnie (Charles) Tyo, and Gerri (John) Lingo; and nephews and nieces, Jeff (Leah), Brad and Ryann.
Laurie was predeceased by her father-in-law, Bob; brother-in-law, Robbie; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and her uncle, Keith.
Laurie also leaves behind extended family and friends whose lives she touched with her caring, wisdom, fun-loving heart, and especially her courage.
Laurie’s mantra was that what matters the most is how God measures your heart, and that in the end, life comes down to time. “Cherish the gift of time with those you love today and always. Don’t let tomorrow rob you of today.”
Visitation will be at the Platt’s Funeral Home, 337 North Belair Road, Evans, from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, June 19.
