Susan L. Haste, 61

Susan L. Haste, 61, formerly of Fulton, passed away Thursday at her home in Salisbury, MD, surrounded by her family.

Raised in Fulton, she was a 1966 graduate of Fulton High School and 1967 graduate of Powelson Business Institute. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Susan worked at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital as an Administrative Assistant for 17 years and had then worked at North Medical Group for two years. In 2005, Susan and her husband Cliff moved to Salisbury, MD where she loved going to the ocean, fishing, golfing and enjoyed watching the wild ponies on Assateague Island. Susan had also worked part time at The Country House in Salisbury.

Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her love and devotion to her family could never be measured in words. Her smile lit up the room and her wit and wisdom will always be remembered by those who loved her. She was predeceased by her father, Fred Livingston and brother, Mike Livingston.

Susan is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Cliff Haste; her four children, Francis Sean Haste (Lynn) of Fulton, Kelly J. Wallace (Kevin) of KY, Shannon M. Burrell (Allen) of CA and Tara Jean DePuy (Scott) of Fulton; 12 grandchildren, Kristina, Ryan, Jacob, Steven, Alek, Scotty, Samantha, Casey, Sarah, Madison, Olivia and Devon; her mother, Myrlene Livingston, her sister, Sally Wilkins, and her brother, Jack Livingston all of Fulton; two nieces and one nephew.

Memorial calling hours will be 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 pm at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. The family requests contributions in memory of Susan may be made to Coastal Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
