OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Health cares about providing accurate and actionable results that enable better clinical decisions and so they recently joined three other healthcare systems across the country that have invested in the Rouche cobas® 5800 System.

The cobas® 5800 System is a compact, fully automated molecular laboratory instrument that offers a flexible PCR testing solution to enable accurate and reliable diagnosis of infectious diseases, including Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, COVID-19, and HPV testing.  The system is built to offer a fully automated workflow and offers an expanded onboard capacity allowing labs to test multiple assays simultaneously, with approximately 2.5 hours to the first 24 results, and 24 more results every 60 minutes thereafter, with the capability of delivering up to 144 results in 8 hours.
