Pet of the Week – Mittens

OSWEGO – Mittens wishes that his name was not Mittens.

He wishes it was “Dude.”

But what can he do?

He has been Mittens for the last 12 years, named after his big feet, not his coolness.

He is part of the  Boylston Sweet 16, a group of cats of all ages and descriptions rescued by the Oswego County Humane Society and United Friend of Homeless Animals after the roof of their house collapsed during that awful blizzard two weeks ago.

He likes to nap, especially with his buddy Sandy.

Doesn’t everyone like to take a nap with a buddy?

He is calm and handsome and gets along fine with other cats, likes people and likes having a roof over his head.

He is neutered and up to date with shots and healthy and you would never guess that he is a “senior citizen.”

Please contact the OCHS office during business hours at 315-207-1070 or via email anytime to [email protected] for information on adopting Mittens.
