Varsity Baseball: Oswego 10, RFA 4

The Bucs scored 7 runs before the Black Knights could even tally one, pounding out 13 hits and forcing 3 errors from RFA. Nick Kostoroski scattered 7 hits for the win. The Bucs smacked four doubles. Andrew Lazzaro led Oswego with three RBI. Oswego’s record evened at 8-8 with the win.

Varsity Baseball: Homer 15, Fulton 3

Homer put up 10 runs in the second inning to run away with this game. Nick Tomarchio came on in the second in relief of starter Drew Florek. Florek had an RBI for Fulton, now 3-13.

Varsity Softball: Oswego 3, Baldwinsville 0

Varsity Softball: Homer 5, Fulton 4

The Raiders gave Homer, 12-1 in the league, a tough game. Jessica Palmitesso held the Trojans to 6 hits. Tori Trovato drove in two runs and had a homer. Team batting leader Kristen Kush and Palmitesso each had RBIs for Fulton, now 9-7.

Varsity Boys Lacrosse: Fulton 12, Whitesboro 8

The 3-13 Raiders staged a mild upset against the 6-10 Warriors. Brett Williams scored three goals and had an assist for Fulton. Mike Towsley had two goals and two assists. Adam Wilcox stopped 11 shots.

Varsity Tennis: F-M 7, Oswego 0

Kristopher Baum was the only Oswego player to win two games in any set against perennial league power Fayetteville-Manlius (14-0). Four of 7 matches were 6-0, 6-0 losses for the Bucs, now 5-6.

Varsity Tennis: Chittenango 5, Fulton 2

The doubles teams of Derek Bateman and Mark Musumeci and Jimmy Evans and Pat Pensabene won their matches and doubles unit Ron McMurray and Trevor Bellinger came within a couple of service breaks of a win for Fulton (6-6).

Varsity Tennis: Skaneateles 5, Hannibal 0

League power Skaneateles, 9-1-1, ran away with this contest. Warrior second doubles unit Jack Eells and Zack Bukolt put up a hard fight, falling 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Hannibal fell to 4-7.

Varsity Girls Golf: Liverpool 215, Oswego 233

From the school district: The loss came after three consecutive Oswego victories. For the Bucs three girls broke 60 on the difficult front nine at the Liverpool Country club. Mariah LaLonde shot at 56 while Mallorie Shannon had a 58 and Rachel Baxter a 59 as she broke 60 for the first time this year. Rounding out the scoring for the 3-7 Bucs were Katie Van Wert with an even 60.

Modified Baseball: Camillus 11, Oswego 6

From coach Steven Carbone: “Despite ripping 5 hits and scoring 6 runs in the first 2 innings, the Bucs lost to Camillus, 11-6. Matt Skinner, Colin Burns, Wes Smith, Dave Culeton and John Hill all had hits for the Bucs. Kyle Perez and Dave Culeton pitched for the Bucs”
