February 2010 was Warmer, Snowier Than Normal
The average temperature was 2.6 degrees warmer than average last month. And yet, the snowfall for February was still 4.1 inches above average.

He presented the highlights of the previous year in his State of the County Address – and also included a caveat for 2011. “We are aware the economy and the state budget may impact us negatively – but, by how much? We just don’t know!” he said.
The temperature was just 1.4 degrees higher than average. The precipitation was 0.38-inch below normal and the snowfall was 0.08-inch above average.
There are some new names as the legislature welcomed five new members today (Jan. 7). The lawmakers also approved an intermunicipal agreement with the town of Scriba and Oswego City School District regarding negotiations with Constellation Energy’s nuclear power plants at Nine Mile Point.
