The ranks of Oswego County’s Youth Court swelled by nearly two dozen on Wednesday night. Youth Court is a recognized community diversion program aimed at keeping young offenders out of Family Court.

Harborfest 2010 Reigns Over Port City
Nearly idyllic weather greeted the large crowd at Thursday night’s opening of Harborfest 23. The music started at 7 p.m. with Hollywood Nights (a tribute to Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band). And, after a short interruption for the official opening ceremonies, The Little River Band kept Harborfest 2010 rocking and rolling.

“High school was great for providing us with chances to participate in something. May 2010 Was One Of The Warmest
The average temperature last month, 60.6 degrees, was more than4 degrees higher than average and appears to also be the third warmest May on record in the Port City.

April 2010 Second Warmest On Record
Even though it snowed in April, the first time since Feb. 28, last month goes into the record books as the warmest April on record. The average temperature last month was 51.7 degrees. That’s 7 degrees above average – and the warmest on record since 1844.
