A year ago, the Community Garden in memory of Heidi Allen at the intersection of State Route 104 and State Route 104B was both an eye sore and discouragement both to the community and family of Heidi Allen. The management of Sun Up #7 and Barrett Paving have blessed the community and family to restore the yard and Community Garden.
Mary Buske turned eleven years old in July. The former Hannibal bus driver who was accused of having sexual intercourse with a teenager has been sentenced to prison time. Jeanine M. Buske, 33, pleaded guilty to third-degree rape and was sentenced to 1-½ to 3 years in state prison.
