Oswego County Federal Credit Union announced plans to open office in Fulton, said William Carhart, CEO. OCFCU is opening the office at 707 S. Fourth St., (Route 481) in early 2016, Carhart said.

The Granby Elementary Parent Teacher Group has partnered with McDonald’s Restaurant, Route 481, Fulton, to raise funds for PTG. On Oct. 15, the restaurant will donate a percentage of all sales between 4 and 7 p.m. to the PTG.
Longley Bros. Dodge donates $600 apiece to three Fulton youth sports organizations including Fulton Pop Warner, Fulton Youth Basketball and Fulton Youth Hockey.
The Fulton Lions Club inducted Jeff Sawyer and Melissa Champion as members at its Sept. 17 meeting. “We are delighted to have Jeff and Melissa join our club,” said President Paul Foster. “As our club grows, so does our ability to reach and help more people in the greater Fulton community.”
The Fulton Lions Club proudly presents the running of the 25th annual Duck Derby, from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 13, said Paul Foster, club president. “We’ve renamed the event, “Charby’s Duck Derby” in honor the late Don Charbonneau, a Fulton Lions past president and creator of the derby,” Foster said.
This year’s Fulton Jazz Festival, Aug. 7-8, offers everything from New Orleans’ deep-fried Cajun mac and cheese balls to Philly cheese steak, to pulled pork, to oven-fresh baked goods, to ice cream, and more, said Bill Hubel, festival co-chair.
A few open slots remain for teams to play in this year’s Swing 4 Service Golf Tourney, said Jerry Stanard, tourney co-chair. Deadline for registration is Aug. 13 and the registration fee is $340 per team.
