The main item for tonight’s Fulton Common Council meeting is next year’s project to fix the deteriorating Broadway bridge over the Oswego River.
The bridge will be shut down while the state rebuilds the bridge, in the same way that the Route 104 bridge was shut down through downtown Oswego during its repair.
The Council will take up three items related to the project. See the full agenda inside.
The College will use the money to help cover the costs of training and planning time for faculty and campus leaders to create developmental learning communities. Learning communities create a cohort of students who are enrolled in the same course or courses and often focus on a common reading or the same major theme across a variety of academic disciplines.
At the recent Arts Fest on the River in Fulton, July 9th, CNY Arts Center presented a line-up of local talent that delighted audiences all afternoon. “It was some of the best feedback we received about the day with comments that we had a good mix of musical styles to appeal to all ages and types,’ said Nancy Fox, Coordinator.

Mary Matott, 91 of Fulton, died Sunday.
Despite the lack of rain this month, Fulton is still about 4 inches wetter than average and where it was last year at this time.
Wednesday’s showers doubled the monthly total – all the way up to 0,08-inch.
School’s out, the last tests have been graded and the diplomas have been handed out. It’s time for the school administratiors to breathe a collective sigh of relief and go on vacation… right? Well, not quite.
