An end-of-the-year tradition, classes competed with one another in fun and camaraderie through a variety of games ranging from sack races to the izzy dizzy baseball bat relay to the “statuesque†plunger and ball torch race.
Scene Around Town: Jreck Subs Hasn’t Closed, It Just Moved
Now it’s gone. The sudden departure appears to have some folks wondering where Jreck went. They’ve even taken their question to the arbiter of all things retail, Post-Standard retail columnist Bob Neidt, who didn’t know either.
Here’s your answer: Jreck moved this week in the long-closed Cam’s NY Pizzeria building next to City Hall and Advance Auto Parts. The new owners tell our Fred Reed (who supplied the cell camera photo below) that they’ll be reopening “in a week or so”. Here’s their new home:

Chamber Celebrates Uniforms Etc. Grand Opening
Members of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce joined a number of city officials for the grand opening celebration of the new location for Uniforms Etc., LLC.
Fulton’s Vayner Library Marks 10 Years
David E. Vayner Library recently celebrated their tenth anniversary on June 22nd.  A celebration was held on June 23rd at the library. Around 50 people attended, including: the Vayner family, local city officials, volunteers, and library patrons.

A home at 151 W. 4th St. S. is the latest to be seized by the city for non-payment of taxes, rehabilitated, and offered for sale by the Fulton Community Development Agency.

Concert To Benefit CNY Family Battling Tuberous Sclerosis
A benefit concert will be held on Friday, July 17, at 7 pm to raise funds for a Central New York family whose infant is battling a rare disorder called Tuberous Sclerosis. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed to help defray medical costs for Jude Langstaff, who was diagnosed at 6 weeks of age.
