The newly renovated building adds more than 14,000 square feet of space to the library. It also offers several other updates. Tania Werbizky of the Preservation League of New York State congratulated everyone on a job well done in saving and enhancing the building. Their efforts, she said, will be used as a model for others looking to save historic buildings.

The fourth and final focus group session was held Thursday, inviting comments and suggestions from members of the general public. Among the suggestions were reach out to a wider area for support and put more emphasis on Oswego’s waterfront during the festival.
