Parish Girl Scout Helps Seniors

The Senior Services Division of OCO delivers hot, nutritious meals to seniors in your community. During the winter months it is sometimes difficult to reach the seniors due to inclement weather. To rectify this situation we are currently creating “Blizzard Bags”. Kelsie Wilson of the Parish Girl Scout Troop 710 decorated these “Blizzard Bags” and collected individually wrapped non-perishable food and drink items to be delivered to home bound and other seniors in the Parish community. Kelsie earned leadership hours with this community service project.
