The Lady Bucs scored a 2-1 win over Central Square on the lanes in the last outing. The Oswego boys’ bowling team gained three more points to move to 17-4 overall on the year.

Oswego State Wrestling Finishes Fifth At RIT Invitational
Blake Fisher (So., Seaford, N.Y.) and Eric Leusch (Sr., Rochester, N.Y.) claimed third-place finishes in the 149- and 285-pound weight classes, respectively, to help the Oswego State wrestling team claim fifth place at the RIT Invitational with 61.5 points.

Nailbiting Mat Victory for OHS Bucs
Oswego varsity wrestlers rolled up a quick 21-0 lead and held on for an apparent 36-36 tie. However, due to criteria of winning more matches the Bucs scored a 37-36 victory over Auburn.

Hannibal Sports Boosters Donates Money to Pay for JV Wrestling
This is the second of four installments, totaling more than $27,000, that will be donated to the Hannibal Central School District to fund JV sports that were eliminated from the 2009-10 budget. JV Football, Fall Cheerleading, JV Wrestling, JV Baseball and JV Softball were all cut from the budget.

Hometown Wrestlers Improve Outlook For Laker Season
The Oswego State wrestling program will look to regroup and get back on track after compiling a 3-10-1 overall record last season and an eighth place finish at the Empire Conference Championships. Led by head coach Mike Howard, who is entering his 20th season, the Lakers will feature a young and talented group as the team has just three seniors on the roster.
