Oswego County Federal Credit Union Announces 10th Annual Gloves With Love Initiative

OSWEGO –  Oswego County Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) has launched its tenth annual Gloves with Love initiative in partnership with Constellation Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station. OCFCU invites community members to donate hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens at any of its locations through January 17, 2025.
“We are thrilled to continue our annual tradition of giving back to the community through ‘Gloves with Love,’” said Bill Carhart, CEO of Oswego County Federal Credit Union. “It is heartwarming to see our employees and their families support those in need, especially during the winter.”
As part of the initiative, OCFCU employees and their families will distribute hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves on trees in parks throughout Oswego, Fulton, and Mexico, NY. Additional items will be donated to resource officers at local schools. Since its inception, this program has provided thousands of essential winter clothing items to local community members.
Gloves with Love is just one of many initiatives led by OCFCU to give back to the Oswego County community. Other programs include Love Out Loud, a community-focused initiative that spreads positivity, love, and kindness, and CU Cares, where each OCFCU branch selects local organizations to receive donations, directly supporting their communities.
