OSWEGO, NY – Angela M. Sweeney, 63, a resident of the Middle Road in the Town of Scriba, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday November 7, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
Angela was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Frank and Lena (Monell) Pandozzi.
She was a graduate of Henninger High School and had lived in Oswego for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Paul’s Church in Oswego and a member of the Golden Agers group, at St. Joseph’s Church.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Peter Sweeney Sr. of Scriba; two sons, Peter Sweeney Jr., and his wife, Heidi, of Oswego, and Michael Sweeney, his girlfriend, Kimberly Brooks, and her son, Derick Brooks Manter, of Oswego; a sister, Kathy Lobello of Cicero; two brothers, Frank (Deborah) Pandozzi of Chittenango, and Richard (Ruth) Pandozzi of Liverpool; two grandchildren, Jacob Sweeney and Henry Sweeney, both of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m Monday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
