The community is invited to participate in the Oswego Health/Novelis Wellness Expo held in conjunction with the Novelis 10Kan race events on September 19th at Breitbeck Park.
The free wellness expo will be held from 8 a.m. to noon. and is designed to promote healthy lifestyles and will include free health screenings, as well as wellness activities and products.
At the wellness fair, Oswego Health will offer screenings including bone density and blood pressure. Other vendors include The Rural Health Network, Oswego County Opportunities’ Health Education Services, Price Chopper, Riverview Wellness Center, The River’s End Bookstore, Port City Performance, Oswego County Habitat for Humanity, the Oswego YMCA, as well as many others.
The Novelis 10kan event will include a 10K run, as well as a 5K run, 5K walk, and a 20-mile cycling race. In addition, a kids fun run will be held.
There is still time to sign up for the events. Same day registration is also available from 7 to 8 a.m. on September 19. Kids can register for the fun run until 11 a.m., the day of the event. For more information visit: www.10kanrun.com
