Levea, 79, of 1471 County Route 6, is charged with murder.  Police allege he rammed his car several times into the back of a pickup truck driven by Christopher J. Spack, 41, of 3381 Howlett Hill Road, Camillus.

Spack lost control of his car, crossed the center line of Rt. 370 and hit another vehicle.  Spack was thrown from his car and died at the scene.

People in two other vehicles suffered minor injuries.

Monday morning, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department said it was trying to trace Levea’s movements after leaving a relative’s home in Hannibal at about 3:30 p.m.

They’re asking anyone who saw either Levea or his orange 2008 Dodge 4 door vehicle, license plate number EDX 6213, to call them at (315)253-1610.

Police in Onondaga County are investigating a similar incident, which happened along Rt. 31 near Youngholm Lane in the town of Elbridge at about 6:10 p.m.  There, a motorist reported that a vehicle that looks like Levea’s rammed his car three times from behind.
