Resource development director for the United Way Lois Luber meets with Chris Fitzgerald of Stability Fitness to tour the facility and discuss the United Way’s Incentive Program.

Chris Fitzgerald, owner of Stability Fitness in Oswego, recently presented the United Way with a donation for the agency’s Donor Incentive Program.

The program offers those who donate to the United Way’s 2009 / 2010 annual campaign the opportunity to win special prizes as an incentive for supporting the United Way.

Resource development director for the United Way, Lois Luber, said, “We established our incentive campaign last year in response to a suggestion by our Campaign Cabinet, due to the feedback we received from our donors and our campaign coordinators, we have decided to once again partner with a number of area business to offer our supporters the opportunity to win some great prizes. With many workplace campaigns still active, I would like to remind everyone that those pledging a minimum donation of $1 per week for one year to the United Way’s 2009 / 2010 campaign through their workplace payroll deduction will be automatically entered into the drawings, which will take place in February. These incentives are a nice way for us to do something for our donors and hopefully increase the number of first time pledges.”

Fitzgerald has donated six one-month memberships to Stability Fitness.

Located at 138 E. Second St., behind the Oswego Tea Company, Stability Fitness boasts more than 7,000 square feet of space and offers a complete cardio / circuit training room; weight room; an aerobic room for exercise classes such as Pilates, spinning, kick boxing, step, yoga; spacious locker rooms, complimentary towel service and more.

The six one-month memberships will be among the following prizes that donors to the United Way campaign will be eligible to win:

Five $100 gift cards to Bosco & Geers Food Store in Oswego courtesy of Eagle Beverage; five $100 gift cards to Canale’s Restaurant in Oswego courtesy of Planned Results, Inc.; five $50 gift cards from Burke’s Home Centers in Oswego and Fulton; a $100 gift card to Bosco & Geers Food Store in Oswego courtesy of Theresa Himes; a ladies Citizen Eco-Drive Watch courtesy of DuFore’s Jewelers in Oswego; New York Mets and Syracuse Chiefs tickets courtesy of Bond, Schoeneck & King; gas Cards courtesy of Stewart’s Shops of Oswego County.

“We are pleased to be able to offer these prizes to our donors and are appreciative of the support we have received from those who have provided the prizes,” added Luber.
