Universal Metal Works and Rombough Electric Manufacture New Bike Racks for Tri-Oswego

Universal Metal Works and Rombough Electric have partnered with the Tri-Oswego Triathlon on the manufacturing of new bike racks for the annual event. Oswego, NY – Universal Metal Works and Rombough Electric have partnered with the Tri-Oswego Triathlon, on the manufacturing of 54 new bike racks for use with this year’s event, and other triathlon/cycling races going forward, according to Shane Broadwell, Tri-Oswego Race Director.

Their assistance on the development of the bike racks has also initiated a multi-year sponsorship between the two companies and the Tri-Oswego Triathlon.

“We are extremely grateful to Universal Metal Works and Rombough Electric for their partnership on the bike racks and our annual event,” said Broadwell. “Their companies were willing to step up to help support us, and we value the relationship greatly. The new racks will be a tremendous asset to our Tri in 2012, and in the years to come.”

Universal Metal Works is a metal fabrication company based in Fulton, New York, and Rombough Electric is an electrical contractor located in Oswego. Both companies service clients throughout Upstate and Central New York.

This year’s Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon is scheduled for Saturday, June 16th in Oswego, New York. Hundreds of participants have signed on to participate in this year’s USA Triathlon sanctioned event, which will include a Sprint, Intermediate, and Sprint Relay Tri race once again this year,

Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon Registration closes on Friday, June 8, 2012. Registration fees are as follows: Sprint Distance $100.00; Intermediate Distance $115.00; and Sprint Distance Relay $240.00. Register online at www.tri-oswego.com/registration.html.

Proof of USA Triathlon membership is required at registration. If you are not an annual USA Triathlon member, you must purchase a one-day membership. The cost is $10.00 for 17 and under and $12.00 for 18 and older.
