Recently the Oswego City School District Board of Education recognized two Charles E. Riley Elementary School students for their artwork which chosen for the New York State Art Teacher Association Legislative Student Art Exhibit in Albany.
Scholastic Art judges awarded eighth grader Kayla Volkomer an honorable mention award. OMS Art teacher Linda Shannon said, “Kayla has an exceptional way of expressing herself visually. This is the first time I can recall that an Oswego Middle School student has received this recognition.”
Living on the Edge Act Two returned to Fair Haven’s Pleasant Beach Hotel recently.
