This story’s a little unusual. Police say a Volney man gave a local credit union five minutes’ warning that he intended to rob them, then took off. Police say they found him on his getaway vehicle — a bicycle.
State Police allege that Christopher M. Seamans, 32, of 340 Shanty Creek Rd. Central Square, held up the NBT Bank branch in Grand Gorge on Tuesday at about 9:40 a.m.. Police said he did not use a weapon. The robber drove away from the bank in a red sedan.
