The Oswego Public Library is seeking approval of a budget of $1,068,973 at the upcoming election on May 17 for the year 2011-2012.
Fort Ontario’s Fort Sumter commemorative event is scheduled this wekend.
The Oswego City School District Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools will listen to the community on March 29. Beginning at 6 p.m. a preliminary budget hearing will be conducted in the board room at the Education Center.
UPDATE: Ms. Haskins was found safe and unharmed. Police have determined there was no foul play involved in her temporary disappearance.
Police are investigating a missing person complaint which was reported this afternoon (Oct. 15) at 3:49 p.m. Christina M. Haskins, 27, of 26 E. Seventh St., was last seen leaving her home on foot at approximately 7 a.m. today.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating multiple burglaries that occurred from July 21 through29. If anyone recognizes the suspect or has any information, they’re asked to contact the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
The Oswego Public Library opens an exhibit that will feature all the Oswego High School’s graphic art classes 2010 Harborfest Poster Design entries.
