CSEA Supports New Contract With Fulton
Members of the CSEA who are employed by the city of Fulton ratified a new four-year labor agreement Thursday evening. It is the first of the city’s three bargaining units to approve a new labor agreement. The previous contract expired at the end of 2007. The city is expected to vote on the agreement next week.

School Board Revisits Budget
Board members ask administrators to show them what the budget would be like with a 4.7 as well as a 3.5 tax rate increase. They will meet again to next week to decide which, if either, best suits the needs of the entire district. The district must have a budget in place by the end of the month.
