The Fulton Junior High School held two Open Houses recently for seventh and eighth grade students and their families.

The halls echoed with school spirit at G. Ray Bodley last week as students enjoyed Raider Spirit Week. Monday, September 29th kicked off the event with Favorite Sports Team Day, where students got to show support for their favorite sports team or player. Tuesday, students dressed up as their favorite superhero or villain, for Superhero Day. Costumes ranged from The Hulk to Superman, and some students even made up their own superheroes.

Fulton 6th Ward Alderman Russ Hayden says he was driving around his ward on a recent day. He passed by Vanburen Park on the city’s north side. Balloons tied to the side of the park’s bathroom building caught his eye.
