<p>October was a good time to check out the fall colors.</p>The average temperature last month was nearly 1.5 degrees colder than normal. Precipitation was a little higher than average – but there wasn’t any snow.

City Alerts Parents To College Students’ Behavior

Earlier this school year, the city has been sending letters to parents of SUNY Oswego students who have been issued an appearance ticket or arrested in Oswego. The system is going well, according to Mayor Randy Bateman who has signed dozens of the form letters so far.

Elsner received his MSLS from the University of Kentucky and a BSME from Kettering University of Flint, Michigan. Elsner has over 10 years of library experience from Michigan and Kentucky which includes the automation of 6 libraries.

The Oswego State Lakers opened their 2009-2010 season strong by winning five of their first seven games .This is especially gratifying to the coaches as all games were played on the road. One of the teams that Oswego defeated was nationally ranked #20 Duquesne University , Pittsburgh, PA.
