County Legislators Say ‘Yes’ To Budget, ‘No’ To Closing Hannibal Transfer Station

<p>Legislator Jack Beckwith makes an impassioned plea to keep the Hannibal Transfer Station open. Between 1,700 and 2,000 residents use the facility weekly, he said. Listening to Beckwith are, seated from left, legislators Doug Malone, Kevin Gardner, Jim Oldenburg and Fred Beardsley.</p>

Legislators voted in favor of the budget plan on Tuesday night. They nixed several attempted to cut it a bit further. They also defeated a move to close the Hannibal Transfer Station.

More Family Priced Nights in 2010 Bring Season Passes Under $200 for the First Time at Oswego Speedway

During the 2008 racing season the Oswego Speedway introduced five family priced nights with $10 adult admission. In 2009 that was increased to six of these reduced rate nights. For 2010 an additional family friendly night has been added to the schedule. With the increased number of low priced grandstand adult tickets, fans that purchase a seasonÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s reserved seat ticket for 2010 will see the price for that pass drop below $200 for the first time in track history.
