Realtors Supports OCO’s PATH Program
The Oswego County Board of Realtors recently presented Karen Merrill, coordinator of Oswego County Opportunities’ PATH program, with a check in support of the program’s efforts of helping area youth.
Holiday Cards For Sunrise Residents
A group of fourth through sixth grade Frederick Leighton Elementary School students created cards for residents of the Sunrise Nursing Home. They personally delivered the holiday greetings.

PJ Day at FPS
Students donated a quarter to the “Habitat for Humanity” project and as a result received the opportunity to wear pajamas in school on the final day before the holiday recess.

Oswego Town, City Have Opposing Views On Ambulance Deal
Oswego Town and the city of Oswego have differing views concerning the ambulance contract between the two municipalities. In a statement today (Dec. 23) to the media, the town board said the contract is intact through Dec. 31, 2012. However, the mayor points out the town supervisor sent a letter to the city giving official notification that they wanted to cancel the contract. He says it will expire Dec. 31, 2010.
