The New York State Art Teachers Association Legislative Exhibit is co-sponsored by the New York State Alliance for the Arts in Education. About 200 students throughout the state were represented in the exhibit.
Belinda Viola, the cook at Discovery Day Care is dressed in a banana suit while she is reading “Your Tummy’s Talking†by Jean M. Cochran to the Phoenix 1 Head Start Preschool classroom. March is nutrition month at Discovery Day Care and the children are able to try new foods during breakfast, lunch and snack.
A Children’s Easter Egg-Stravaganza will be held on Saturday April 3rd from 1:00-3:00pm at the First United Methodist Church located at 1408 State Route 176 (across from the Fulton Jr. High School) This event is open to all children in the community. An adult must accompany children.
Cash, gift certificates for local goods and services, and plenty of fun will all be on hand at the fifth annual St. Luke “Bundle of Bucks†Raffle Party taking place on May 22nd! “Bundle of Bucks†Raffle cash prizes totaling $25,000 dollars will be paid out when all one thousand tickets are sold by the time of the drawing.
