Two students at Lanigan Elementary School were recently recognized for working hard and making good choices.
SUNY Oswego Text(Books) South Sudan
SUNY Oswego professors, student organizations and others have worked together to send a large shipment of textbooks to a university in South Sudan. In an effort to supply the John Garang Memorial University library in South Sudan, around 5,000 textbooks were donated along with more than $5,000.
Police Continue to Investigate Rt. 48 Head-on Crash
State Police don’t know yet what may have caused a head-on crash on Rt. 48 in Granby Monday evening.
Police say alcohol was likely not involved.
Women’s Health Fair Set June 4
Oswego County’s Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program’s Women’s Health Fair will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Fulton YMCA. This free event, which is open to the public, will feature more than a dozen vendors and offer women an afternoon of fun, pampering and valuable information on women’s health issues.
