Pathfinder Bank is collecting school supplies at all of its Oswego County locations in support of United Way’s annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign. In addition to the collection boxes, the Clubhouse Tavern, 126 W. Second St., will host a breakfast for the Stuff-A-Bus campaign on July 30 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Dozens of youngsters flocked to Breitbeck Park Tuesday evening for the annual Children’s Gala to start off Harborfest week activities. This was the fourth year that Harborfest has hosted a Children’s Gala that focuses on teaching children about the different cultural themes of Harborfest each year. This year’s featured culture for Harborfest is England.
Oswego Health will continue two of its long-standing Oswego Harborfest traditions.
The healthcare system will sponsor the Oswego Harborfest Children’s Parade on Friday, July 29, where its Sun Patrol will hand out small packets of sunscreen along the parade route.
Richard J. Delaney, Sr.,78 and the beloved husband of Sally A. Delaney of 57 years, passed away Monday evening in Upstate Medical University.
Kevin J. “Cro” Crofoot, 48, of Fulton, died Sunday at his home after a sudden illness.
