Urgent Care Manager Joins Fulton Rotary Club

Lori Greeney, left, Nurse Manager of the Oswego Health Urgent Care Center in Fulton, is being welcomed by Fulton Rotary Club president, Judy Young.  Lori is the newest member of the Fulton Rotary Club.  Rotary International is a service organization opened to both men and women who are in the professional or business fields.  Members of the Fulton Club are members of the world's largest and oldest service club, Rotary International.  Rotarians continue to work to improve their community and our world through service to others. Camp Hollis Welcomes Oswego County Legislators

Camp Hollis recently invited the Oswego County Legislature to come out and tour the facility, meet the campers and enjoy lunch on the picturesque lakeside campus. The campers created rock art to thank the Legislature for its support of the camp. Americans with Disabilities Awareness Day is July 26

The Oswego County Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee recently presented a proclamation designating July 26, 2011 as Americans with Disabilities Awareness Day. At hand for the presentation were Debbie Bartlett, employment consultant with Oswego ARISE; Kristin Rabideau housing advocate with Oswego ARISE, James Karasek, District 22; Ronald Sakonyi, District 5; Committee Chairman John Proud, District 7; Sabine Ingerson, director of Oswego ARISE; Ken Skillen, president of the Self-Advocacy Group with Oswego ARISE; Jim Cronk, independent living services representative with Oswego ARISE; Committee Vice Chairman Jacob Mulcahey, District 15; Margaret Kastler, District 1; and Terry Wilbur, District 21. The Oswego County Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee recently presented a proclamation designating July 26, 2011 as Americans with Disabilities Awareness Day.

Fulton Rotarians Hear About Red Cross Relief Efforts From Volunteer

At a recent Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Diane Cooper-Currier introduced Susan Pope (left), a member of American Red Cross Regional Chapter and their disaster volunteer group.     Susan presented a program, along with a slide show, of their recent trip to Tuscaloosa,Alabama  in the Spring of this year when that area was devastated by a mile-wide tornado and severe flooding.  The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Riverside Inn.Susan presented a program, along with a slide show, of their recent trip to Tuscaloosa,Alabama in the Spring of this year when that area was devastated by a mile-wide tornado and severe flooding.
