Legislature Honors Stoker on her Retirement

The Oswego County Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee presented a certificate of appreciation to Carol Stoker for her 26 years of service. Stoker is retiring from her position as a social welfare examiner in the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Legislature Marks ‘Home for the Holidays’ Month

The Oswego County Humane Society has joined with several area animal welfare organizations to sponsor the annual “Home 4 the Holidays” pet adoption campaign.  Partners include Harbor Hounds Greyhound Rescue, Paws Across Oswego County, United Friends of Homeless Animals, New York Citizens Against Puppy Mills, and Oswego County Guinea Pig Rescue. The groups are working together to promote the adoption of homeless pets in Oswego County. County Legislature Vice Chairman Arthur Ospelt (left) recently presented the proclamation to Dan Capella, secretary of the board of directors of the Oswego County Humane Society. County To Hold Public Hearing On Tax Cap Tuesday
