The Oswego County Legislature’s Public Safety and Emergency Services Committee presented Sergeant Richard Cole with a certificate of appreciation for his 20 years of service.
SUNY Oswego’s On Screen/In Person film series will offer the inmates-victims documentary “Concrete, Steel & Paint” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Oswego Cinema, 138 W. 2nd St., followed by a question-and-answer session with co-director Cindy Burstein.
The superintendent of schools will meet with the home and school groups for each of the elementary schools to discuss the possibility of redistricting. There is a plan in the works to move a few students around to create a better balnce in the district’s five elementary buildings starting in the 2012-13 school year.
