June 22 marked the end of the 2011-2012 school year and the beginning a new, reconfigured Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District. Altmar and Parish Elementary School each culminated the event with a program honoring the past and the present as well as celebrating the future.

Mary A. Kane a former resident of 62 Ontario St. Oswego and recently of Bishop’s Commons passed away Tuesday evening June 26, 2012, at St. Luke Health Services, Inc. at the age of 101.
Jane Scruton, 69, of Oswego, died Tuesday June 26, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
The facility has been abandoned for about two decades, since the opening of the new Public Justice Center across the road. One possible option is to raze the dilapidated structure. Some parts could wind up being sold as scrap.
