On Tuesday, the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team executed a search warrant at 136 W. Seneca St., Oswego. Investigators discovered an illegal outdoor marijuana grow, according to police. Several plants were seized which yielded an aggregate weight of 2.85 pounds.
Richard James Boardway, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 21, 2012, at St.Luke Health Related Facility in Oswego.
Frank W. Lisk, 71, a resident of 1033 County Route 25, passed away at the family homestead on Tuesday Aug. 21, 2012.
Graveside services for Harvia Chaffee, 90, of Hannibal will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, County Route 3, Hannibal.
They allegedly received more than $3,000 during the months of May 2008 until December 2008 from the Oswego County Department of Social Services they weren’t entitled to.
Temperatures will keep getting warmer the next few days
The USTA Tennis Program teaches basic tennis skills and gives youth a chance to get outside and exercise, said the program’s coordinator. An “Olympics” was held to give them a chance to show off what they’ve learned.
