In a rematch from Saturday, the Oswego State volleyball team (9-9) dropped the first set to Morrisville (3-10), 25-22, but fought back to win the next sets, 25-13, 25-20, and 25-19 Wednesday.

The Oswego State field hockey team (2-8) got back into the win column at home when it put together a great team effort to defeated the Wells Express (4-7), 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon.
Sophomore Haley Miller (Springwater, N.Y.) battled back from an 8-2 deficit in the third-set supertiebreaker to win at fifth singles and give the Oswego State women’s tennis team (3-8) a 5-4 win over St. John Fisher (1-8) on Wednesday.

On September 28, the Oswego City Police Department responded to a 911 dispatch for a burglary in progress at a private residence. Upon their arrival, a neighbor told police they observed two people enter the residence
while the owner was not there.
Harbor Towne Gifts and Souvenirs, of Oswego, has once again made a donation to the annual bazaar to be held by the Oswego Hospital Auxiliary. The local business has donated Department 56’s Christmasland Tree Toppers, which is part of the North Pole series.
