Oswego Speedway will play host to the second annual Racing for Ronald McDonald House Walk on June 8 beginning at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds from the charity walk will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY.
Following a footprint path, visitors viewed the artistic creations of students from the college and high schools across Oswego County, community members, as well as college employees and alumni. The exhibitions included submissions in a range of media – including photography, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and drawings.
A Fulton student is headed to the SkillsUSA national competition taking place June 24-28 in Kansas City. If he wins there – he’s bound for the world competition in London. “What’s unique about SkillsUSA, is that it’s the only student organization that has business and industry partners,” said Ron Camp, director of Career and Technical Education and Alternative Programs.
The public is invited to drop-off old electronics – and help United Way of Greater Oswego County – at State Senator Patty Ritchie’s free electronics recycling event on Saturday.
