Herkimer County Community College women’s track and field athlete Mary Lenhart of Hannibal, a Criminal Justice major has been named Region III Female Co- Athlete of the Week. She is a multi-event athlete and just won the Region III Regional Heptathlon and is ranked second in the National rankings for heptathlon, fourth in javelin, ninth in shot and 12th in the 100 hurdles.
Tony Gentile, Lighthouse Lanes, and Dawn Leduc, Friends of Hospice, are planning for the Oswego County Hospice Cup Regatta Reception. It will be on June 1 at 4 p.m. at the Oswego Yacht Club.

Charles R. “Oxie” Ochsenbein, 85, a resident of Miner Road, passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services.
