Fulton Police Department welcomes Meki

Officer Jarrett Marino with MekiThe Fulton Police Department recently welcomed its newest member, Meki, a 15-month-old Male German Sheppard. Meki, who was born in Holland, graduated K-9 training with the Syracuse Police Department on May 31,  with his handler Officer Jarrett Marino. Meki is replacing Fulton Police K-9, “Rika,” who just retired.

Missing Child Case in Utica Highlights Importance of Passing Caylee’s Law

Utica police have been searching for a toddler since he was reported missing on June 11. Sadly, the 9-month-old child was reported missing two weeks after his disappearance by his father. Police have involved some members of the public to help search for the child and asking anyone with information to call. This case is an example of why New York needs to pass Caylee’s Law.

Positively Parish News – Week of June 23, 2013

Joan Wood Benjamin and Marilyn Wood of Murrells Inlet, SC, recently took their parents, Carl and Jean Wood, former Parish residents, to New Orleans, Louisiana. They toured the French Quarter, The French Market, the World War II Museum, took a ride on a Steamboat down the Mississippi and had dinner at restaurants that played Jazz and Cajun music.
